On the scoresheet, today's win against the Bluejackets looks like a perfect road win. They won 4-1, came out hard and scored the first goal, the special teams were clicking, and Naslund scored a beautiful goal. There was one glaring stat though that tarnishes this win: they got no shots in the second period, and none in 30 minutes. They were, to their credit shorthanded for much of the second. That's one thing Dan Russell will conveniently forget to mention. Anyways, there's no excuse for not getting shots on net for that length of time.
This is a good way to start this 4 game road trip, and a good recovery over the sub-par effort against LA.
