Nice win tonight, guys! The Canucks outworked and outskated the Wild and were rewarded with a blowout 6-2 victory. What really bugged me about the game though was the chippiness that the Wild displayed as the game got out of reach. First it was Gaborik headhunting Ryan Kesler cause he couldn't stand the fact that Kes checked him well all game. What's wrong Gabby? Can't stand the heat? His elbow on Kes was cheap and premeditated. Then you have Aaron Voros' elbow on Luongo. Boogard was looking for people that he could hurt. BS nonsense. Then Koivu elbowed Ohlund before he retaliated with a big two-handed slash. All I have to say about that is way to stick up for yourself! There is talk of possible suspensions to Ohlund and Gaborik for their infractions. I doubt anything will happen. Finally, Stephane Veilleux shot the puck at Jeff Cowan at the end of the game. How classy is that? What a bunch of sore losers.
Next game against the Wild is Wednesday. Don't think about trying anything nasty, or we'll blow you out again.
