Oh well, I guess tonight's loss was bound to happen. The Canucks have showed some of their best moments this season have come in the face of adversity. This month has not been kind to them. Not only has the schedule been brutal, the injury and flu bug have hit the team as well. Tonight, they played without Kesler, who has the flu and "had it coming out of both ends" as coach AV put it. Luongo has been out for three games with his rib injury, and now Brendan Morrison is out with a wrist injury. It's not a pretty picture, but they were able to pull off a win in Anaheim last night. In the final period of last night's game, their tired legs began to show, and it was really noticable in tonight's game.
Next up is Edmonton on Saturday. Wow, they actually get a day of rest tomorrow! Thank you, schedulers! Luongo hopes to play in that game, and Kes should be back as well. If they can get their share of points through this tough stretch, they will be just fine heading into the Christmas break. Remember, last year, the Canucks didn't even get their act together until after the break.

i agree....they looked tired as hell...and for them to even pull within one goal in the third after being down by 3 goals is amazing to me...if we get Lunogo back and Kesler back soon, that would be great.
6 games in 9 nights! Can the NHL get anything right?
that and on top of that with 8 games in 8 different cities with ONE home game in between...what a JOKE!!!
