After being out of town for so long, I feel that there was no better way to reconnect with the Canucks than to actually see a game. Val and I were at the game against the Islanders the other night, and we were not disappointed. It was an exciting and weird game, and the score flattered the Islanders as it probably should have been a blowout if it weren't for the heroic goaltending of Rick DiPietro and lucky post saves.
However, the game was good, with plenty of drama and an entertaining shootout. Tonight, they are in San Jose to take on the Sharks. Expect a great effort from a Nucks team looking for revenge from the last game.
